What’s up at the April 22nd flea market!
Second to None and Citizen Matters present the 4th Flea Market.
Preethi Prabhu and volunteers will be there all day to talk to volunteers about the concept of lending micro loans to rural entrepreneurs.
Goonj, the NGO, will be there from 11 AM to 2 PM to sell books that they have received in collections to raise funds for the NGO. Support!
Catch Heal the Soil as they share a fast and fun way to keep us healthy by growing our own superfood in the tinniest space possible, bringing the idea called ‘Urban Permaculture’ to Bangalore. On sale will be homemade natural soaps, handmade paper bookmarks, grow your own superfood kits and tees to raise funds for the ‘Slum Kitchen Garden Project’ in Bangalore.
Between 1 and 3 PM, meet Sushanth and Yatin from WiserLocal, who will talk to you about this initiative which connects people across borders as well within the community to get together and work on any cause, like infrastructure, loss of green cover, waste management, and more.
